Hi Marty,
The switch is done. fullstrength.org is live on the new site as of this afternoon, and your headline change is in ("Our Journey"). Everything carried over: all 199 articles, 2019 through this week's issue, including every Mailchimp article since 2024 with a photo on each, at their existing addresses. Email was never touched, and I tested the signup form end to end: it feeds the same Mailchimp list.
SiteGround, where we landed: the account was on the GrowBig plan at $29.99 a month ($359.88 a year), plus a scanner add-on at $59.88 a year and domain privacy at $24 a year. All three are now set to not renew, so that spend ends for good. The hosting itself stays paid through April 30, 2027, which keeps the old WordPress site available as a fallback until then. The domain stays registered at SiteGround at $23.99 a year, the one charge worth keeping, since it's the address itself. All in, SiteGround goes from about $468 a year to $24.
Going forward: for now I'll weekly import whatever goes out through Mailchimp to the site. It's automated on my end, so each new article gets posted with a photo the same way, and the library stays current without anyone lifting a finger.
Handover items are ready when your team wants them: the full backup of the old WordPress site, the new site's files, and the list of legacy pages that need a keep-or-retire call. The backup is in this Drive folder: Full Strength - WordPress Backup - Nov 5 2026. Anyone with the link can view it, so pass it to whoever on the team needs it.
Mike
